We are seeking an experienced Administrative Officer to join our team at Spirex Canada Inc. as a Strategic Administrative Support Specialist.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to various departments within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure they align with company policies and goals.
  • Establish work priorities and ensure that all procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • Carry out administrative activities such as data entry, record-keeping, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate and plan office services, including accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, disposal of assets, parking, maintenance, and security services.
  • Assist in preparing the operating budget and maintaining inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in administration
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Conditions:

  • 35 hours per week
  • Permanent position
  • English language proficiency

Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience.
