Job Title: Physiotherapist

At Meridian Spine and Joint Physiotherapy, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate physiotherapist to join our dynamic healthcare team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a physiotherapist who can assess, diagnose, and provide treatment to patients with musculoskeletal conditions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of human anatomy, physiology, and the musculoskeletal system, as well as proficiency in using a wide range of therapeutic techniques and equipment.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, including evaluating their range of motion, strength, flexibility, and overall physical abilities.
  • Analyze and interpret medical histories, test results, and other relevant information to develop accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Design and implement individualized treatment programs that incorporate therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, electrotherapy, and other techniques to alleviate pain, improve mobility, and promote physical rehabilitation.
  • Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures to enhance long-term well-being.
  • Monitor and document patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Stay informed about the latest advancements and research in physiotherapy to incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care.
  • Adhere to professional and ethical standards set by regulatory bodies and uphold the highest quality of care.
  • Participate in professional development activities, such as workshops, conferences, and continuing education programs, to enhance your knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license or certification as a physiotherapist, obtained through a recognized regulatory body.
  • Proven experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with various physical conditions, injuries, or disabilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and the musculoskeletal system.
  • Proficiency in using a wide range of therapeutic techniques and equipment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey complex medical information to patients and their families.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for accurate documentation and record-keeping.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive hourly rate of $45.00 per hour.
  • 35-42 hours per week.
