About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Onboarding Manager to join our team at American Express Global Business Travel. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the customer onboarding experience, ensuring seamless implementation of regional and global projects, and fostering strong relationships with internal partners, teams, and third parties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project plans, ensuring scope and approach are aligned with stakeholder expectations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement project work breakdown structures, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
  • Ensure effective communication and stakeholder management throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Drive project performance, monitoring status, milestones, changes, risks, issues, assumptions, decisions, and dependencies.
  • Lead the development and implementation of global test plans, ensuring successful E2E testing and documentation.
  • Manage project closure and lessons learned, ensuring a positive and fun environment for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in leading customer onboarding and implementation projects.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced matrix environment, managing multiple geographies, functions, and time zones.
  • Business English mandatory, with multi-lingual capability advantageous.
  • Commercial awareness, relationship building, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to motivate and lead project teams, manage under pressure, and adapt to changing priorities.
