Academic General Internist Position with a Focus on Quality Improvement

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated physician to join our team as an Academic General Internist at the University of Toronto.
As a member of the Division of General Internal Medicine, you will be expected to deliver and foster excellence in academic general internal medicine. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about quality improvement and have a proven track record of achieving exceptional results.
The successful candidate will participate in general internal medicine clinical activities in both inpatient and outpatient settings, and contribute to the educational activities of the Division by providing exceptional undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. We are looking for a candidate with advanced training in quality or innovation, with evidence of scholarship through peer-reviewed publications, presentations, or awards.
Estimated compensation for this position will be in the range of $250,000-$300,000, commensurate with academic rank, qualifications, and experience. The University of Toronto offers a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and life insurance plans.
Required skills and qualifications include an MD degree, certification in Internal Medicine by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and medical licensure in Ontario. Subspecialty certification in General Internal Medicine is preferred. Advanced training and demonstrated achievement in quality improvement or education scholarship are also required.
