Job Description

CARS R US INC is seeking a Financial Records Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, calculating fixed assets and depreciation, and performing various other accounting tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
  • Determine the value of fixed assets and calculate their depreciation, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, providing a clear picture of the company's financial health.
  • Post journal entries and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare tax returns and financial reports, including trial balances and statistical analyses.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Dependability, accuracy, and efficiency in all tasks.
