Culinary Operations Manager

Overview
At Save-On-Foods, we are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team in Coquitlam, BC. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing a key area of the restaurant within the hot, cold, and service areas.
Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence
- Achieve operational standards for the department in areas such as cleanliness, food safety, shrink, scheduling, and health & safety.
- Inventory Management
- Manage product ordering and inventory control to attain established service levels.
- Team Leadership
- Lead a team, act as a coach, mentor, and resource to team members.
- Foster a positive environment that is focused on Always Customer First service.
- Collaboration
- Support the management team with team member relations.
- Develop entrepreneurial strategies to grow the business.
- Accountability
- Take count of the correct amount of stock during monthly inventory.
Requirements
- 1-2 years of culinary experience working in a kitchen or restaurant.
- Experience leading a team.
- Food Safe Certificate.
- Passion for great food and outstanding service.
- Strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.
- Retail, customer service experience (considered an asset).
