Overview


At Save-On-Foods, we are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team in Coquitlam, BC. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing a key area of the restaurant within the hot, cold, and service areas.


Responsibilities



  • Operational Excellence

    • Achieve operational standards for the department in areas such as cleanliness, food safety, shrink, scheduling, and health & safety.

  • Inventory Management

    • Manage product ordering and inventory control to attain established service levels.

  • Team Leadership

    • Lead a team, act as a coach, mentor, and resource to team members.
    • Foster a positive environment that is focused on Always Customer First service.

  • Collaboration

    • Support the management team with team member relations.
    • Develop entrepreneurial strategies to grow the business.

  • Accountability

    • Take count of the correct amount of stock during monthly inventory.

Requirements



  • 1-2 years of culinary experience working in a kitchen or restaurant.
  • Experience leading a team.
  • Food Safe Certificate.
  • Passion for great food and outstanding service.
  • Strong work ethic and "let's get it done" attitude.
  • Retail, customer service experience (considered an asset).
