Job Title: Home Support Worker

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Home Support Worker to join our team at Christopher Lesanko. As a Home Support Worker, you will provide personal care and support to clients in their own homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals, promoting healthy eating habits.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote social interaction.
  • Shop for food and household supplies, ensuring clients have access to essential items.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that require bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
Work Environment:

Our clients live in their own homes, and as a Home Support Worker, you will work in a non-smoking environment, providing care and support in a safe and healthy setting.

Language:

The primary language spoken in this role is English.

Hours:

35 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to accommodate client needs.
