About the Role

Allied Properties REIT is seeking a skilled Leasing Manager to support the leasing activity of our distinctive portfolio in Toronto. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing relationships with clients and stakeholders, and contribute to the success of our urban workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete the full cycle process for all new leases and renewals, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
  • Manage vacancies, including preparing spaces for showings, creating marketing materials, and leading showings to potential clients.
  • Provide support and backup to other members of the leasing team as required, ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external brokers, fostering strong partnerships and driving business growth.
  • Report on leasing activities, tenant updates, and market conditions, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
  • Assist in preparing various reports, as assigned, to support business objectives.
  • Perform due diligence processes for all deals, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Participate in annual budgeting processes, contributing leasing assumptions for assigned territories and properties.
Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of commercial real estate leasing experience, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of the commercial leasing process, including drafting and negotiating offers, LOIs, and contracts.
  • Proven experience in contract negotiation and administration.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Responsiveness and ability to anticipate client needs, with a commitment to respond in agreed time-frames.
  • Demonstrated resilience, passion, and commitment to deliver results and be accountable for outcomes.
  • An assertive self-starter with the ability to work independently, as well as a collaborative team player.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with good judgment and decision-making abilities.
