We are seeking a highly motivated Logistics Sales Expert to join our Sea Trade team in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering agreed portfolio targets through the development of existing and new customers in accordance with our national sales management guidelines.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive Sales Plan to achieve success in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with operations to apply specialized knowledge relevant to your department and trade lane, ensuring seamless execution of sales activities.
  • Engage in customer visits, calls, presentations, quarterly business reviews, negotiations, and contract management to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Input and maintain sales activities in the Client Relationship Management system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Ensure a smooth transition of customers to operations in line with customer requirements, guaranteeing minimal disruption to their business.
  • Demonstrate expertise in all company products and service offerings, effectively managing sales of these offerings to meet customer needs.
  • Utilize available resources to ensure success and deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with teams on Request for Quotation (RFQ), pricing, and handover preparations to provide efficient solutions to customers.
About You

To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's Degree and at least 2 years of Field Sales experience in sea logistics freight forwarding. Your skills and qualifications should include:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 2+ years of Field Sales experience in sea logistics freight forwarding
  • Experience with logistics processes and solutions
