As a Systems Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure, collaborating closely with our development team to deploy applications, migrate systems, and monitor security.

We are seeking an experienced professional who can work effectively in a Windows Server environment, configuring permissions, roles, groups, and system security restrictions. You will also be responsible for managing Linux environments, Docker, DevOps, and using Bash commands.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects, including application deployment planning, system migration strategy, and finding solutions to complex technical issues. Your proactive approach, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively will make you an asset to our team.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Migrating and deploying applications in a transparent manner, communicating clearly with users and providing support
  • Analyzing problems and recommending solutions, as well as best practices for short-term, mid-term, and long-term strategies
  • Working collaboratively with our Agile squad to maintain and automate DevOps delivery pipelines using Safe
  • Enabling DevSecOps capability in the BBM domain
  • Cross-functional collaboration with the Bell DOQ team to ensure quality and reliability of applications

We use a variety of technologies, including API Connect, IBM Integration Bus, Kafka, Redis, Event-Driven architecture, Java, Oracle, Elastic Logstash Kibana (ELK), Python, Spark, OpenShift, and DevOps tools.
