Job Title: Painting and Decorating Supervisor

Ultra painting Ltd is seeking a skilled Painting and Decorating Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the painting and decorating process, ensuring high-quality results, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate painting and decorating projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Lead and train a team of painters and decorators, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent workmanship.
  • Conduct site visits to inspect work in progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage inventory and materials, ensuring adequate supplies and minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in painting and decorating, with a focus on supervision and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
Working Conditions:
  • Work outdoors, with exposure to varying weather conditions.
  • Work in a noisy and dusty environment, with potential exposure to hazardous materials.
Language:
  • English or French.
