This position is also responsible for acting as a team lead to Student Success Mentors. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with students and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide peer support and guidance to students
Promote programs and services that support student success
Act as a team lead to Student Success Mentors
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement student success initiatives
Foster a sense of community and engagement among students
Requirements:
Must be enrolled as a York student
Previous work experience may be considered
Ability to communicate effectively with others
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
Ability to build and maintain relationships with students and colleagues
