The University of Saskatchewan is seeking a visionary leader to serve as its University Librarian and Dean. This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of the University Library and contribute to the institution's commitment to excellence in research, scholarly and artistic works.

About the Role

The University Librarian and Dean plays a critical role in setting the strategic direction for the University Library, advising senior leaders, and collaborating with colleagues to achieve university goals. This position requires a strong leader who can inspire and motivate a team of approximately 115 faculty and staff members to deliver exceptional services and resources to students and researchers.

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to advance the University Library's mission and goals
  • Provide leadership and direction to the University Library team
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to align the University Library with university priorities
