Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our Corporate Treasury team as a Liquidity Management Specialist. In this role, you will play a critical part in developing and implementing our enterprise-wide liquidity risk strategy, ensuring the bank's ability to absorb risk and maintain a competitive advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain consolidated enterprise liquidity stress models, providing critical insights to inform our liquidity risk management decisions.
  • Reconcile and explain differences between reported liquidity metrics and stress results, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
  • Prepare key liquidity dashboards and scorecards for the monthly Liquidity Crisis Team, providing timely and actionable information.
  • Support analysis and modeling requirements for our enterprise-wide Recovery and Resolution Plans, working closely with CT and GRM partners.
  • Generate and maintain ad hoc analysis, research, and modeling requests, spanning all businesses and regional balance sheets.
Requirements
  • Pertinent university business degree or equivalent, with a strong foundation in finance, economics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in related fields, with a proven track record of analyzing and managing liquidity risk.
  • Excellent technical and practical knowledge of liquidity metrics, such as LCR and NSFR, and/or bank balance sheet management and/or modeling.
  • Basic understanding and interest in the role of banking in the macroeconomic environment and causes and impacts of prior banking crises.
  • Knowledge of the structure of RBC Financial Group or a similar large international bank, as well as the purposes and goals of the banking business model.
Preferred Qualifications
  • CA, CPA, MBA, CFA, or equivalent Master's degree, with a strong focus on finance and risk management.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with business intelligence and/or data management tools, such as Tableau, SQL, or Snowflake.
