Job Summary:

The Clinical Nutrition Specialist is responsible for the planning and implementation of the nutrition care of patients in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local standards and regulations, clinical guidelines, and policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develops and implements individualized nutrition plans for patients
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintains accurate records and documentation
  • Conducts meal rounds to ensure patients are receiving optimal nutrition therapy

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in dietetics or nutrition-related field required
  • Registration from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and licensure/certification from the State Licensing Board for Dietitians, if applicable
  • Two years experience in acute care hospital, preferred
Salary and Benefits:

Estimated salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
