The Human Resources Business Partner will be responsible for delivering HR guidance and solutions tailored to our senior living homes. This will include providing excellent HR support on recruitment, retention, team member relations, policy interpretation, employment laws, and Health and Safety practices.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Partnering with the business to provide HR support and guidance on recruitment, retention, and team member relations.
  • Supporting leaders with performance management and compensation, including planning and offering guidance on feedback.
  • Working with leaders to offer daily guidance on performance, including coaching, managing performance issues, delivering feedback, and championing career development.
  • Providing strategic support by developing a talent management plan that enhances engagement, succession planning, and team member development.
  • Communicating effectively to support change management, helping leaders and team members understand and navigate organizational changes.

Requirements for this role include:

  • At least 7 years of HR consulting experience; HR designation preferred.
  • Proven ability to partner with senior leaders to develop and implement people strategies that drive business results.
  • Strong relationship management skills across all levels.
  • Experience in resolving complex HR issues.
  • Knowledge of Canadian employment law and practices, with the ability to proactively apply this in client consultations.
  • Skilled in consulting on policies, processes, and identifying trends and solutions.
  • Ability to anticipate and drive necessary changes alongside business leaders.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment, discretion, and initiative with confidential matters.
  • Successful completion of a Criminal Check is required.
  • A reliable vehicle and valid GDL license are required, as travel is essential for this role.
