The RoleWe are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Specialist to join our team at BC Children's Hospital. This is a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, providing expert occupational therapy services to promote health and well-being.
Responsibilities- To provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients and families, including assessment, treatment planning, and intervention.
- To develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the needs of patients and their families.
- To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
- To maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring confidentiality and adhering to PHSA policies and procedures.
- Baccalaureate in Occupational Therapy and licensure with the College of Health Care Professionals of British Columbia.
- Two years of recent related experience, including one year in pediatrics or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in groups, one-on-one, and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.
- A competitive salary of approximately $93,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
