The Role

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapy Specialist to join our team at BC Children's Hospital. This is a unique opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, providing expert occupational therapy services to promote health and well-being.

Responsibilities
  • To provide comprehensive occupational therapy services to patients and families, including assessment, treatment planning, and intervention.
  • To develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address the needs of patients and their families.
  • To work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless delivery of patient care.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring confidentiality and adhering to PHSA policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Baccalaureate in Occupational Therapy and licensure with the College of Health Care Professionals of British Columbia.
  • Two years of recent related experience, including one year in pediatrics or an equivalent combination of education, training, or experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in groups, one-on-one, and in writing.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in collaboration with others.
