About You: As a Financial Clerk, you will play a vital role in maintaining the financial records of our organization. Your responsibilities will include calculating and preparing cheques for payroll, keeping financial records, establishing and balancing various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems, and maintaining general ledgers and financial statements.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare trial balance of books
