Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Culinary Operations Manager to join our team at Lobster Boil Seafood.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning menus, estimating food requirements, and coordinating special events. They will also oversee the preparation and cooking of meals, train staff in food handling and preparation, and maintain inventory records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning: Plan and develop menus that meet the dietary needs of our customers, including those with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Cooking and Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes, ensuring high-quality standards are met.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use and minimizing waste.
  • Staff Training: Train kitchen staff in food preparation, handling, and presentation techniques.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met.
Requirements
  • Education: A degree in culinary arts or a related field is an asset.
  • Experience: 3 years of experience in a senior kitchen role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication skills, initiative, organization, reliability, teamwork, and time management.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $60,000 and $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
