Heavy Truck Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Heavy Truck Sales Representative to join our team at Davidson Contract Services.
Job Summary:The Heavy Truck Sales Representative will be responsible for selling heavy trucks and trailers to existing and potential clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the trucking industry and be able to provide excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, trade-in allowances, warranties and delivery dates
- Oversee the preparation of sales and orders
- Prepare sales or other contracts
- Promote sales to existing clients
- Identify and solicit potential clients
- Deliver sales presentations
- Use sales forecasting software
- Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates
- Consult with clients after sale to provide ongoing support
- Reach to clients after sale or signed contracts to provide ongoing support
- Advertise and/or promote products, sales or services
- Provide customer service
- Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems
- Manage contracts
- Knowledge of highway trucking and associated rules and regulations
- Conduct sales calls
- 5 years or more of experience in the trucking industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of sales forecasting software
- Ability to travel to various locations
