Product Manager: Fintech Innovation

About the Role

As a Product Manager on the Disruption team at Hopper, you will play a critical role in shaping the company's innovative products and user experiences. You will work at the intersection of business, software development, data science, and user experience to create solutions that reduce the stress of traveling.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a product roadmap across multiple business objectives, ensuring timely execution and delivery of high-impact items.
  • Collaborate with external partners to develop and implement new and existing products, building trust and strong relationships.
  • Design and execute experiments to test hypotheses and increase revenue through new merchandising strategies.
  • Conduct market research to understand traveler needs and preferences in different regions.
  • Use data to identify user behavior and purchase patterns, informing opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Develop and launch new products from concept to launch, working with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment.
  • Work with customer service to identify and address customer problem trends.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to launch innovative features quickly and efficiently.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in consumer product roles, delivering delightful features at scale.
  • Strong knowledge of Fintech, Insurtech, or risk-based products, with a keen interest in innovative solutions.
  • Innovative and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving, with experience navigating complex systems.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with attention to detail, communicating complex ideas effectively.
  • Technical depth and ability to collaborate with world-class engineers and data scientists.
  • Proven track record of analyzing data, drawing accurate conclusions, and adjusting strategy accordingly.
  • No ego, with a strong focus on doing what is right for the customer and the company.
