About the Role:
  • The successful candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.
Responsibilities:
  1. Personal Hygiene and Mobility Assistance: Assist clients with personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility, ensuring their comfort and dignity.
  2. Medication Administration and Daily Exercises: Provide support with medication administration and daily exercises, monitoring client health status and reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
  3. Companionship and Emotional Support: Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, building strong relationships and trust.
  4. Light Household Duties: Assist with light household duties, such as cleaning and meal preparation, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment.
Requirements:
  • Certification as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) in Canada.
  • Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare settings.
  • Strong communication skills and empathy towards patients.
  • Physical ability to perform lifting and supporting movements.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
