Our Ideal Candidate

We seek an experienced Accounting Professional to join our Finance team in Kelowna, BC. As the successful candidate, you will collaborate closely with the Controller to execute general accounting functions, treasury, and financial reporting tasks.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Prepare timely journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close procedures.
  • Adhere to corporate financial policies, government legislation, and accounting principles.
  • Resolve daily and monthly GL posting problems.
  • Support the Controller in providing detailed and reliable information to external auditors.
  • Assist in variance analysis, planning cash management, insurance, and other corporate financial requirements.
  • Oversee accounting procedures, internal controls, and database management.
What You'll Bring to the Team
  • CPA or equivalent designation is preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree with an Accounting or Business major.
  • 3+ years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Knowledge and proven application of generally accepted accounting principles.
  • A strong internal customer focus, enabling you to develop, maintain, and nurture strong relationships with customers.
  • A high degree of self-motivation and ability to make decisions considering facts, constraints, and anticipated consequences.
  • Excellent communication skills and proven ability to collaborate with team members.
  • Ability to travel occasionally.
Compensation and Benefits
  • A competitive base salary of $85,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on skills and experience.
