We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Long Term Care Aide to join our team at Cambridge Health Inc. As a Long Term Care Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support in a long term care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with cleaning, sterilizing, and setting up medical equipment
- Perform personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming patients
- Take patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Weigh, lift, turn, and position patients safely
- Maintain patients' rooms and inventory of supplies
- Transport patients between care facilities and provide wheelchair or stretcher assistance
- Administer first aid in emergency situations
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Will train on the job
- First Aid Certificate
