Job Title: Food Service Team Lead - Restaurant OperationsSalary: $45,000 per yearJob Description:- We are seeking an experienced food service supervisor to join our team as a team lead. This key role involves overseeing daily restaurant operations, ensuring seamless delivery of high-quality food and excellent customer service.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food, maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation procedures, and quality control measures to ensure consistency across the board.
- Estimate ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing efficiency.
- Maintain records of stock, sales, repairs, and wastage to inform inventory management decisions.
- Prepare reports on daily operations, highlighting successes and areas for improvement.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth interactions.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role or relevant industry.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- The ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
- Demonstrated knowledge of food safety protocols and health regulations.
- A valid food handling certification (if applicable).
