Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Coordinator to join our team at Borea Construction. This is a challenging role that requires strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for environmental sustainability.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all wind turbine construction work meets the highest environmental standards. This includes planning, monitoring, and reporting on environmental impacts, as well as collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement environmental monitoring programs for wind turbine construction sites;
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulations and specifications;
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations;
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and approval authorities to obtain necessary permits and certificates;
  • Propose solutions to environmental problems related to construction activities;
  • Participate in the development of new tools and services offered by the company;
  • Write detailed reports on environmental monitoring activities;
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology, Environmental Sciences, Renewable Resources, or equivalent;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role;
  • Advanced knowledge of environmental standards and regulations;
  • Proficiency with ArcGIS software and technical skills;
  • Demonstrated bilingualism in English and French (written and spoken);
  • Experience in the construction industry and health and safety standards;
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
