About the Position
As a School Bus Driver with First Student, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and timely transportation of students to and from school. We are seeking highly skilled and dedicated individuals who possess excellent communication skills, physical stamina, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prioritize vehicle maintenance by conducting pre and post-trip inspections to ensure buses are in good working condition.
- Provide support to students by assisting with boarding and exiting the bus, as well as addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during the journey.
- Collaborate with other drivers and dispatchers to ensure seamless routing and minimize delays.
- Meet and exceed performance standards, including safety metrics and on-time delivery targets.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Hold a valid driver's license for at least one year and possess a clean driving record.
- Pass a Ministry-prescribed medical examination and undergo background checks.
- Develop strong relationships with students, parents, and school administrators to build trust and confidence in our services.
