Position Summary:
The Medical Technology Strategist will play a pivotal role in defining and executing the company's clinical strategy to support the development and adoption of its groundbreaking medical solutions. This individual will oversee clinical research, regulatory processes, and collaborations with healthcare professionals and institutions, ensuring the safety, effectiveness, and success of the company's products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a forward-looking clinical strategy to support the product portfolio and innovation pipeline.
  • Act as a key advisor in strategic decision-making, ensuring clinical insights are integrated across the organization.
  • Lead the design, execution, and analysis of clinical trials to validate product safety, efficacy, and patient outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical standards across all clinical activities.
  • Manage clinical aspects of regulatory submissions and interactions with regulatory authorities.
  • Stay updated on global regulatory requirements and ensure alignment with all applicable standards.
  • Cultivate relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), clinical advisors, and medical professionals.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, advisory boards, and educational events, promoting clinical initiatives.
  • Collaborate with R&D teams to align clinical insights with product development.
  • Partner with commercial teams to develop clinical training programs and materials for healthcare providers.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing clinical affairs team.

Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., MD, DO, OD, PhD, or equivalent).
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in clinical leadership roles within the med-tech or healthcare sector.
  • Proven expertise in managing clinical trials, regulatory processes, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Strong background in ophthalmology, low vision, or related medical specialties is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking abilities.
  • Experience in fast-paced, innovative environments is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven medical technologies or minimally invasive solutions is a plus.
