Overview

Actionmarguerite is seeking a Health Care Professional - Supportive Care Associate to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, this individual will provide supportive care and assist with resident care in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $43,000 - $53,000, based on industry standards and the level of experience required.

Job Description

This role involves acting as a member of the health care team, assisting with resident care and providing basic supportive care as directed. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to the vision, mission, and values of Actionmarguerite.

Responsibilities
  • Provide basic supportive care to residents as directed by healthcare professionals;
  • Assist with resident care activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming;
  • Participate in ongoing education and training programs to enhance knowledge and skills related to supportive care;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports regarding resident care and services provided;
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and other members of the care team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Graduate of an approved Health Care Aide training program;
  • Experience working in Long Term Care or Chronic Care settings;
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both official languages (English and French);
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills;
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively;
  • Current Criminal Record Check for the Vulnerable Sector and Adult Abuse Registry check deemed satisfactory by the Employer.
