Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Program Manager - Strategic Project Execution to join our team in Canada.
This role will be responsible for defining and executing projects that may impact single or multiple plants, including capital projects, product moves, technology transfers, or product introductions.
About the Role
The successful candidate will oversee design, improvement, expansion, and construction of equipment, systems, and capital projects, ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards.
You will lead project execution and performance, including reporting and project reviews with HUB management and others as required.
This position requires strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage resources not under direct reporting lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Development: Define project schedules and financial plans, manage projects within approved schedules and budgets, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Project Portfolios: Oversee project portfolios, including capital projects, product moves, technology transfers, or product introductions, which may impact single or multiple plants.
- Project Execution and Control: Supervise project execution and performance, including reporting and project reviews with HUB management and others as required.
- Health Safety & Environmental / ITM: Ensure that all projects comply with HSE policies and procedures and Integrated Transformer Management Systems processes.
- Leadership & Development: Lead and coach the project team to ensure project objectives are met, and provide training and development opportunities to support assigned tasks.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience in Operations, Project Management, and/or Continuous Improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or other related field.
- Project Management degree or certification is an asset.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage resources not under direct reporting lines.
- Experience with capital and construction projects, budgeting, and planning.
- Excellent English communication skills, both oral and written.
- Listening skills; experience creating and delivering presentations.
Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
