About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Sushi Chef to join our team at Izakaya Tenkuu. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for maintaining records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory. You will also demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to our cooking staff, supervise activities, and prepare and cook meals or specialty foods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
- Demonstrate new cooking techniques and equipment to cooking staff.
- Supervise activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers.
- Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
- Fast-paced environment.
- Organized and reliable.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 35 hours per week.
