About the Work Environment

We offer a flexible and hybrid work environment, combining in-office and remote work from home. Typically, you'll work regular business hours, Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 4:30pm with flexibility around start/end times. Successful candidates outside this area may need to relocate and reside within commuting distance.

About Qualifications

  • 10+ years of software engineering experience.
  • 5+ years in leadership roles managing multiple teams.
  • Proven experience collaborating with Product Owners and stakeholders, proficient in AWS cloud services.
  • Strong programming skills in Java and Python.
  • Expertise in CI/CD tools (e.g., AWS CodeBuild, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Experience with automation frameworks and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
  • Understanding of software architecture principles (e.g., Domain Driven, GRASP, SOLID).
  • Banking or financial services experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

About Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and manage multiple software engineering teams and team leads.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture.
  • Oversee design, development, and deployment of software applications.
  • Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
  • Drive automation initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce manual efforts.
  • Provide architectural expertise for scalable, secure, and robust systems.
  • Ensure software solutions comply with banking regulations and security standards.

Compensation

We offer a competitive annual salary of $165,000-$190,000, depending on your skills, abilities, and experience. Additionally, we provide group benefits and an RRSP matching program starting on the first day of employment.
