Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Prime Time Messenger Inc. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Logistics
    • Operate a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods across the country.
    • Ensure timely delivery of goods to customers.
    • Maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Vehicle Maintenance
    • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
    • Oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance, including tire checks, brake adjustments, and emergency roadside repairs.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide excellent customer service to customers, including receiving and relaying information to central dispatch.
    • Ensure the safety and security of cargo during transportation.
  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Hold a valid AZ class license.
    • Comply with all relevant regulations and laws related to transportation and logistics.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
