Canda Six Fortune Enterprise Co. Ltd. is a leading importer and distributor of Asian food products from the Pacific Rim and other regions. We are currently hiring a Part-time Senior Truck Driver to make deliveries for our BC division.

Position Summary:

The Part-time Senior Truck Driver will be responsible for making frequent deliveries, operating a Tandem axle straight truck to deliver goods to restaurants and retail stores in BC Interior areas. This role involves frequent movement and lifting, and applicants must hold a Class 3 driver's license and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Working Hours:

  • Saturday and Sunday
  • Start working at 4:00am

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a tandem axle straight truck safely in accordance with the company's delivery standard operating procedures and the Motor Vehicle Act regulations.
  • Deliver to retail stores and restaurants.
  • Move goods inside customers' premises (kitchen/storage).
  • Check inventory against invoices with customers.
  • Collect cheques and cash where needed.

Requirements:

  • Class 3 driver's license with air-brake endorsement and a clean driving abstract.
  • Ability to operate a tandem axle straight truck safely in accordance with standard operating procedures and Motor Vehicle Act regulations.
  • Knowledge of BC Interior areas.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada.
