At Cambridge Memorial Hospital, we are dedicated to providing exceptional patient-centered care in a thriving community environment. As a key member of our Women & Children's Health team, the Pediatric Care Professional plays a vital role in assessing pediatric patients from infancy to adolescence.

Job Summary

This is a Full-Time position working 12 hour shifts, including days and nights, as well as weekends. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Evaluating the health needs of pediatric patients
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care

The ideal candidate will possess a strong medical/surgical knowledge base and have previous experience with patient safety and quality initiatives. Experience with Meditech is an asset.

Requirements
  • Diploma or Baccalaureate degree in Nursing required
  • Strong clinical decision-making skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to facilitate discharge planning and promote family-centered care
