Executive Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to join our Infection Prevention and Control team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to our IP&C staff, ensuring efficient operations and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clerical support to Infection Prevention and Control staff, including typing, formatting, and proofreading various materials.
- Compose routine correspondence and collaborate with IP&C professionals on document design and editing.
- Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings, presentations, and travel arrangements.
- Maintain accurate databases, spreadsheets, and filing systems, ensuring confidentiality and security.
- Perform a range of secretarial duties, including answering phone calls, greeting visitors, and handling confidential matters.
- Two years of directly related experience in a healthcare setting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Familiarity with e-mail and computerized calendars, as well as experience scheduling and coordinating meetings.
The successful candidate will be required to work for long periods at a computer and may be required to perform other duties related to this job description.
What We Offer- A competitive salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
