About the Role


Ontario Teachers' is seeking an experienced Senior Product Strategist to lead our Financial Management & Reporting Product team. As a key member of our organization, you will drive product innovation and strategy, collaborating with finance business partners to understand their needs and develop effective solutions.



Key Responsibilities



  • Act as a driver of product innovation and strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact products that meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with finance business partners to understand their strategy and priorities, ensuring alignment with our overall product vision.
  • Develop and maintain a well-organized product roadmap, release strategy, and backlog of features and user stories, clearly communicating priorities to stakeholders.
  • Foster strong relationships with development teams, providing guidance and clarity on product requirements and priorities.
  • Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to drive product innovation and growth.


About You



  • 5+ years of experience in product management or a related field, with a proven track record of delivering successful products and driving business growth.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and principles, with experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels, influencing and aligning stakeholders around product strategy and priorities.
  • Relevant university degree and relevant certifications (e.g. PMP, Agile Certified Practitioner) are an asset.

  • A competitive salary range of $130,000 - $170,000 per annum, depending on experience.
