Construction Project Manager

Silver City Construction Ltd is seeking a skilled Construction Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day activities of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Estimate and Manage Costs: Ensure that construction projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
- Recruit and Manage Staff: Supervise and coordinate the work of construction workers, including hiring and training new staff members.
- Coordinate Activities: Plan and schedule construction activities to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Ensure Health and Safety: Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries on the construction site.
- Establish Work Methods: Develop and implement efficient work methods to meet project deadlines.
- Read and Interpret Plans: Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to ensure that construction projects are completed according to plan.
- Recommend Personnel Actions: Make recommendations for personnel actions, including promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions.
- Procure Materials and Supplies: Source and procure materials and supplies necessary for construction projects.
- Supervise Workers and Projects: Supervise construction workers and projects to ensure that they are completed on time and within budget.
- Train or Arrange for Training: Provide training and development opportunities for construction workers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
