Salary and Benefits

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse with experience in Labor and Delivery to join our team on a fixed-term contract basis. The ideal candidate will have a full scope of practice and be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

The RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Labor and Delivery unit, ensuring that all policies, procedures, and standards are followed. This includes completing medical records, maintaining a safe and sanitary environment, monitoring and evaluating patient health status, and communicating with physicians and staff members to plan patient care.

The successful candidate will also be required to meet certain qualifications, including current licensure as a Registered Nurse, active BLS/CPR certification, and knowledge of Labor and Delivery. A FHS and NRP certificate would be an asset.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the nursing facility's policies, procedures, and standards are followed.
  • Complete medical records by federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary environment by all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient health status and progress.
  • Communicate with physicians and staff members to plan patient care.
Qualifications
  • Must be a Registered Nurse with current licensure.
  • Active BLS/CPR Certification.
  • FHS and NRP certificate preferred.
  • Knowledge of Labor and Delivery required.
