We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Maintenance Worker to join our team at ALL ROUND PROPERTY MANAGEMENT INC. The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning and maintaining large properties, including sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing floors, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners and performing minor repairs.
Responsibilities:
- Sweep, mop, and scrub floors and stairs
- Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt
- Empty trash cans and other waste containers
- Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
- Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Contact contractors for major repairs
- Perform safety and security checks
- Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
- Perform other routine maintenance jobs such as painting and drywall repair
- Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
- Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience in cleaning and maintenance
- Ability to work under pressure and handle heavy loads
- Flexibility, initiative, and reliability
