Role Summary

The Client Operations Team at CMHC is seeking a Senior Administrator to support the delivery and administration of programs and/or business activities. This role will involve coordinating processing and administrative functions, validating and ensuring accuracy of data inputted into the system, and communicating and/or negotiating with clients and third-party providers.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Support the activities of a team responsible for the delivery and administration of programs and/or business activities.
  2. Monitor business activity and conducts an analysis of applications/requests to ensure compliance with program guidelines and policies.
  3. Coordinate processing and administrative functions.
  4. Validate and ensure accuracy of data inputted into the system.
  5. Communicate and/or negotiate with clients and third-party providers.
  6. Act as a liaison between business lines and play a role in collecting and disseminating information that is crucial to the achievement of business objectives and project deliverables.
  7. Support functional teams in reporting activities.

Requirements

  • A post-secondary education or an equivalent amount of education and experience in business or public administration.
  • A minimum of one year of prior relevant experience in securitization or mortgage underwriting.
  • Strong organizational skills including the ability to multi-task, prioritize, meet deadlines and take initiative.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills including the application of sound judgment and the ability to escalate appropriately.
  • Oral and written communication skills including the ability to persuade others.
  • Attention to detail.
  • The ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
