At Wayve, we're committed to driving innovation in the field of autonomous vehicles. As an Embodied AI Research Manager, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our technology.

We're looking for a seasoned research leader with a passion for fostering personal and professional growth within their team. You'll be responsible for managing a strong Science team, collaborating with leaders across the company, and ensuring sustainable career growth for your team during a period of significant growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing career plans and growth trajectories for team members
  • Ensuring project leads are set up for success and have strong impact
  • Maintaining a culture of cross-boundary collaboration, impact, innovation, and health
  • Growing the team by identifying areas where additional resources are needed and pitching this to leadership for investment

You'll work closely with project leads to ensure projects are resourced effectively, and you'll bring technical and project management expertise to help accelerate our progress and decision-making.

This is a full-time role based in our Vancouver office, with competitive compensation, learning & development, daily lunches, lots of fun socials, comprehensive private health insurance, and more. We offer flexible working hours, trusting you to do your job well at times that suit you and your team.

Estimated salary: $150,000 - $180,000 per year (dependent on experience).
