Waterloo, Ontario, Canada Manulife Full time
Manulife Contact Center is seeking a talented Multilingual Customer Service Expert to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique blend of in-office and remote work, with team members in the office on Tuesdays through Thursdays. We value empathy and seek individuals who are passionate about helping others.

In our operations team, we foster collaboration and innovation, critical as we strive to grow the business. And of course, we offer unlimited coffee to keep everyone energized and focused. Our hybrid model not only supports work-life balance but also enables employees to take initiative and grow within the company.

This position involves providing exceptional customer service to policyholders, agents, and other collaborators in both French and English languages through inbound calls, email, and chat. Key responsibilities include handling a high volume of customer inquiries, analyzing problems, and delivering detailed and proactive solutions. Advanced technology and software systems will be utilized to accurately record customer interactions and deliver exceptional solutions. Emotional intelligence and understanding are crucial in all interactions to build positive relationships with customers and advisors. Staying updated on products, services, and industry regulations is essential to provide accurate information to customers and support their financial and health goals. Collaboration with team members and other departments is necessary to resolve complex customer issues and seek support when required.

Required qualifications include bilingual (verbal & written proficiency) skills in both French and English due to frequent interaction with internal/external English-speaking customers or employees outside of Quebec. Proven experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment is also essential. Strong technical skills and ability to navigate multiple computer systems and software applications are necessary for success. A secondary school diploma is required, while one year of experience in a call center or customer service environment is preferred.

We empower our employees to learn and grow in their careers, recognize and support them in a flexible environment, and shape the future they want to see. As part of our global team, you will receive a competitive salary of $22.50-$25.00 per hour, plus benefits including dental care, extended health care, life insurance, paid time off, stock options, and vision care. The expected schedule is Monday to Friday, with 37.5 hours per week.
