Job Summary:

A seasoned professional with over 8 years of experience in leading complex construction projects is required to join our team. As a Construction Project Director, you will be responsible for creating project plans and schedules, ensuring the highest safety and quality standards across multiple projects.

You will demonstrate leadership in health, safety, and environmental protection, creating and facilitating the Project Quality Program to ensure quality standards are maintained. Your expertise will also involve developing and maintaining construction schedules to meet milestones and completion dates, as well as leading project meetings to monitor and support project progression.

As a strong leader, you will provide guidance to construction team members, capitalizing on individual and group strengths. You will identify and manage opportunities and risks to achieve schedule and financial targets, maintaining, tracking, and reporting all financial aspects of the project including forecasts and billings.

Your procurement process management skills will include subcontractor/trade/supplier negotiations and awards.

Qualifications:
  • 8-10+ years of related work experience as a Project Manager on residential, commercial, industrial construction projects.
  • Post-secondary education in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline is an asset.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of construction documents, drawings, specifications, costs, budgets, and current construction practices and methodology.
  • Ability to analyze problems, identify short and long-term solutions, anticipate patterns, and consider broader implications.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
Working Conditions:
  • This is a site-based role.
Compensation Package:

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes benefits such as health and dental insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
