Job Summary:

The Manager, Provider Experience is a key member of the Provider Experience leadership team at Fraser Health. This role is responsible for providing leadership and direction in the development, coordination, and implementation of initiatives and strategies for building a quality provider experience across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve provider experience and satisfaction
  • Lead the development and coordination of initiatives and projects to enhance provider engagement and adoption of clinical information systems and digital health solutions
  • Provide oversight and coordination with other teams and programs in Fraser Health
  • Lead a regional program on change management and adoption, and utilization and evaluation of informatics solutions
  • Support physicians and clinical programs/departments to strategize and assess needs related to digital health initiatives
  • Lead the planning, budgeting, scheduling, recruiting, training, and performance of the provider experience team
  • Provide advice to the Director on the strategic objectives and implementation of major projects
  • Ensure legal, financial, and operational activities are consistent and compatible with Fraser Health standards

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from a school of nursing or allied health discipline
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Health Sciences Profession
  • Seven to ten years recent, related clinical education and leadership experience in the health care sector
  • Current practicing registration with an applicable regulatory body

Competencies:

  • Demonstrates the leadership practices of the Fraser Health Leadership Framework of Clear, Caring and Courageous
  • Comprehensive knowledge of provider processes, workflows, clinical services delivery, and patient/client satisfaction determinants
  • Strong understanding of clinical information and data and how these are managed and operationalized within the clinical information system
  • Proven ability to apply systems and critical thinking in a complex multi-disciplinary environment
  • Proven ability to create and execute plans and ensure timelines are met
  • Exercises initiative, self-direction and problem-solving abilities to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement

Working Conditions:

The Manager, Provider Experience will work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. The role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Reporting Relationship:

The Manager, Provider Experience will report to the Director, Provider Experience.
