Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Milano's Ristorante LTD is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food service department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
  • Requisition Food and Kitchen Supplies: Source and procure high-quality food and kitchen supplies to maintain our high standards.
  • Train Staff: Provide comprehensive training to our food service staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Hire and Manage Staff: Recruit, hire, and manage a team of food service staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Prepare Budgets and Cost Estimates: Develop and manage budgets and cost estimates to ensure the financial sustainability of our food service department.
  • Prepare Food Order Summaries: Compile and present detailed summaries of food orders to our chef and management team.
  • Ensure Security and Safety: Maintain a safe and secure work environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service environment.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 hours per week.
