About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Optimization Specialist to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing production requirements in relation to slaughtering, dis-assembly, and packaging of customer demand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Builds and communicates daily production plans for Heritage packaging and offline processing departments
  • Manages allocation of Heritage raw materials and capacity for current + 7-day horizon using SAP Dis-Assembly Planning and ePPDS planning software
  • Owens accuracy of master data in SAP relevant to yield and capacity planning
  • Leverages production planning metrics (utilization, quality) to drive process improvements

As a key member of our Heritage Planning team, you'll work closely with Manufacturing, Distribution, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to ensure smooth execution of production plans.

Requirements
  • Experience in commissioning/start-up manufacturing setting is an asset
  • Clear understanding of how to coordinate efforts of raw materials supply, forecasting, supply planning, and execution of a production plan
  • Proficient in MS Office Software (particularly Excel)
  • Experience using SAP (or similar ERP system) is an asset

The salary for this role is estimated to be between $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
