Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Financial Recovery Specialist to join our team in Montreal. As a key member of the Finance team, you will be responsible for contacting customers with overdue account balances in a professional and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound collection calls to customers with overdue accounts, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and relations.
  • Collect customer payments in accordance with payment due dates, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding balances.
  • Identify and discuss issues contributing to account delinquency with management and Sales Representatives.
  • Collaborate with collection agencies to resolve delinquent accounts through ongoing communication.
  • Support operations by managing customer overdue accounts and collection activities, including identifying delinquent, default, or write-off accounts.
  • Assist with daily cash application and ensure accurate and timely processing of customer payments.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a collection function or customer-facing role, with a strong understanding of accounting practices.
  • Excellent written and spoken English and French language skills.
