Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps/SRE professional to join our team. As a DevOps/SRE, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and smooth operation of our services in both production and test environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure service reliability and uptime in production and test environments
  • Provide 3rd level troubleshooting support and be on-call as required
  • Monitor uptime and performance of production systems
  • Execute common sysadmin tasks, such as applying patches and report generation, and perform some DB administration
  • Help improve tools to reduce repetitive work and improve consistency
Requirements
  • 3+ years' experience in production operations or SRE or similar role
  • Understanding of software systems concepts, including networking, firewalls, protocols, databases, and more
  • Experience with Linux, Bash, Maven/Gradle, Windows, PowerShell, Nuget, RDBS, NoSQL DBs, CI/CD tools, Infrastructure as Code tools, containerization/virtualization technology, and load balancing tools
  • Experience with Cassandra, Zookeeper, Hadoop, Kafka, Ms SQL, or MongoDB is an asset
  • Experience leading or mentoring others is an asset
  • Understanding of software delivery practices, such as feature toggling and no-downtime deployment
