Job Description

A challenging opportunity has arisen for a Quality Control Technician - Day Shift - Monday to Friday - Permanent position 40 hours/week - face-to-face with an agri-food company located in Salaberry-de-Valleyfield.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Examining products during the production process;
  • Identifying and reporting any non-conformities detected to the various parties involved;
  • Promoting and educating employees on HACCP program requirements;
  • E nsuring that good hygiene practices are followed by staff;
  • E nsuring that good manufacturing practices are applied;
  • Completing necessary follow-up documentation;
  • Providing training to employees;
  • Performing other related duties as required.

Your Profile

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar position in the agri-food industry;
  • A DEC in Process and Food Quality Technology, or other relevant training;
  • Fluency in written and spoken French;
  • Knowledge of standards in regulated fields;
What We Offer

Fed ManuTech offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $55,000 depending on experience, as well as full insurance, company RRSP, vacation, and other company benefits.
